Work Packages

WP1: Project managemen

We will ensure effective and efficient management of budget and time, as well as quality and content assurance, by applying the most suitable tools and methods. This will include monitoring all activities, handling administrative tasks, coordinating efforts, managing budget implementation, and facilitating communication among all partners.

WP2: App realisation

Building on the experience of using the currently available iOS beta version of malAR app WP2 aims to make malAR app OS-idependent accessible to all devices while enhancing its features to elevate mathematics teaching and learning through augmented reality. New features are intended to lower the threshold of participation both for teachers and learners.

WP3: AR task data base

The goal of this work package is to equip the malAR app with expert-created in-app materials to provide easy accessible,
high quality material while simultaneously lowering the participation threshold, especially when getting started with malAR app but also beyond. By providing malAR-sensitive tasks on spatial geometry for lower secondary education and analytical geometry for upper secondary education, combined with pre-created AR scenes for each task, we offer didactically well-founded examples.

WP4: Teaching and learning material

Teachers are supported with practical resources to effectively use the malAR app, task databases, and the digital classroom in math lessons. Easy-to-follow materials provide a clear introduction to the app’s key features. Best-practice examples aligned with national curricula can be used directly in the classroom. This ensures high-quality and sustainable integration of malAR into teaching.

WP5: Dissemination

As part of the national teacher training courses, our goal is to equip as many teachers as possible with the knowledge and
skills to effectively integrate malAR into mathematics instruction. Additionally, we aim to foster internationalization and cross-border exchange among teachers within this WP. At an international teacher meeting teachers can connect with peers and experts in digital media for mathematics education, exchange ideas, and build up an international network.
